To preserve and promote native flora, fauna and landscape values of Toodyay and the Avon catchment by exchanging ideas, supporting research and education, publishing papers, and any other practical works that encourage the community to be aware of the natural environment and/or substantially further its preservation and restoration.

To better understand the values we wish to protect the TNC has regular outings to locations within the Toodyay Shire and to other areas of conservation significance.

The Club has interesting guest speakers at their monthly meetings talking about a range of subjects. They cover vast areas of natural history, birds, botany, geology, insects & spiders, mammals, reptiles and frogs, revegetation and weeds. We often meet in the bush on excursions led by experts (including highly qualified amateurs) willing to impart their expertise and share their knowledge.

The Toodyay Naturalists’ Club Inc. does not support any development that will have an adverse impact on the natural environment. However, it is willing to work with proponents of current and future development proposals to secure the best outcomes for the environment.
